So you want to get a body like Jessica Alba?

Great stuff! Well it isn't going to be easy because you know Jessica Alba put a lot of work into it. So first as always lets look at the stats.

Typically Jessica works out from between 45 minutes to an hour each day. But she’s also an outdoor gal so is often playing golf, hiking or at the beach. Basically staying active helps her keep her fat reserves in check and remain physically fit. First you’ll need to get your heart rate up to about 180, This can be done in a host of ways from running, elliptical machines, cycling, swimming etc for about 10 to 15 minutes. Next do about 50 lunges and crunches to work and strengthen your core muscles. Then it’s back on the machine for another 10 minutes to keep the heart rate pumping. Then work on your shoulders, biceps and triceps. Typically start with light weights and build up over time, perform your weight routine non-stop in a kind of mini-super-set.

When coupled with the correct diet and lifestyle routine this workout should leave you with an abundance of energy and feeling good about yourself.

For breakfast, Alba goes for an egg-white omelette and fruit, or cottage cheese and a peach. For lunch, salad or sushi is on the menu to avoid excess weight gain, dressing is usually oil and vinaigrette. Dinner is usually roasted vegetables and chicken or fish. For snacks during the day Alba munches on some dried fruit, or maybe even a chocolate or strawberry frozen yogurt. Desserts and bread are a definite no go.

Alba has constantly said that she's been on a diet since the age of 12. This routine demands strict dedication and take a long time!
